I took these photos last week, after I noticed blind-and-deaf Baron and our old boy, Dillon, taking turns resting their heads on each other while sleeping off and on over the course of a couple of days. So there's Dillon above, using Baron as a head-rest.
Not to be outdone, here's Baron using his uncle Dillon for the same purpose. He's too small to get his head on top of Dillon, so leaning his head against Dillon's body is the next best thing:
But on a cold winter's day, there's really nothing better than snuggling all curled up with a bigger friend. Thus Baron wrapped himself inside Dillon for extra warmth:
It just doesn't get anymore adorable than that :)

It looks like Dillon and Baron have worked out a space-sharing agreement.

I can't think of a better way to spend a cold, wintery afternoon than cuddling up to a warm friend for a snooze. Dillon and Baron demonstrate what Charles Schultz said years ago. "Happiness is a warm puppy!"

When I look at these beautiful pictures, what stands out the most is the love, acceptance, and harmony these special needs dogs possess. How appropriate for this season! Keep up the wonderful work you do! Hugs from my three rescues--Ally, Joker and Panzer.

Totally cute!
There's nothing like settling in for a long and snuggly winter's nap...taking it from these guys, it's going to be a great, peaceful season.

These pictures brought tears to my eyes - happy tears. Just to imagine their absolute content makes me feel warm inside - thank you for giving them a place to be this happy (and lucky)! My old girl with the dodgy right hip also sleeps with her hind leg out straight like Dillon - wonder if it eases the pain in the hip a bit. Glad to see Baron again (cutie pie). Hugs to both of them - and you. Keep warm (or send some of the cold this way - please!!)
